A work entitled «Geoeducation and Geoethics: Implications in natural hazards communication and preservation of architectonic heritage» was coordinated by Dr. Dolores Pereira and presented in EGU 2014 (Vienna). This contribution was carried out in the framework of an ERASMUS Intensive Program on “Global Heritage and Sustainability: Geological, Cultural and Historical”.
Among other issues, it describes the round table which was held in the University of Salamanca on “Geoeducation and Geoethics in Earth and Planetary Sciences”. It offered a very good opportunity to analyze how aware is the scientific community about the importance of education and ethics in communicating natural hazards risks and their relationship preserving architectonic heritage.
