Nuestro colega y miembro de REDESPA, el Dr. Rogelio Daniel Acevedo del <\/span>Centro Austral de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas <\/a>(Ushuaia, Argentina), responsable del Grupo Argentino de Estudio de Meteoritos y Astroblemas (<\/span>GAEMA<\/a>) nos env\u00eda una interesante informaci\u00f3n sobre el \u201cCat\u00e1logo de Meteoritos de Sudam\u00e9rica\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este cat\u00e1logo proporciona de manera pionera una informaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica sobre cada esp\u00e9cimen, como su procedencia y el lugar donde fue descubierto (en coordenadas geogr\u00e1ficas y con mapas ilustrados, su nombre oficial, su clasificaci\u00f3n (clase, y si procede grado de meteorizaci\u00f3n y estado de choque, si se trata de una ca\u00edda o un hallazgo, su masa total o peso, la instituci\u00f3n donde se encuentra alojado y las referencias m\u00e1s importantes sobre cada ejemplar.<\/p>\n
