Al recibir\nel premio, Sacrist\u00e1n calific\u00f3 esa cinta como \u201cuna de sus pel\u00edculas m\u00e1s\nqueridas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo\ncalific\u00f3 la profesi\u00f3n de ge\u00f3logo como \u201cun hermoso oficio y muy comprometido con\nlas circunstancias amenazantes en estos tiempos que corren\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>El divulgador cient\u00edfico de la BBC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro de los invitados al c\u00f3ctel del Navidad del Colegio de Ge\u00f3logos fue el ge\u00f3logo escoc\u00e9s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (se abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/profiles\/2CLj0fQxCHr6qX606H3sPnr\/about-iain-stewart\" target=\"_blank\">Iain Stewart<\/a>, divulgador cient\u00edfico de la BBC, conocido por ser el presentador de una serie de documentales sobre el planeta Tierra. En su intervenci\u00f3n destac\u00f3 la importancia de la informaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y de c\u00f3mo los expertos deben saber comunicar para que la divulgaci\u00f3n llegue a la poblaci\u00f3n en general. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Iain Stewart, divulgador cient\u00edfico en la BBC en el c\u00f3ctel navide\u00f1o del Colegio de Ge\u00f3logos\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gNieIDByrqo?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>En\nese sentido, Stewart es muy conocido en Reino Unido por sus programas sobre el planeta\nTierra, donde ha abordado temas como los terremotos, los volcanes y otros riesgos\ngeol\u00f3gicos. Asimismo es miembro del panel cient\u00edfico de la UNESCO y profesor de\nComunicaci\u00f3n en Geociencias en la Universidad de Plymouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pionera de la geolog\u00eda espa\u00f1ola<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, el ICOG hizo entrega de la distinci\u00f3n de Ge\u00f3loga Honor\u00edfica a t\u00edtulo p\u00f3stumo a Concepci\u00f3n Bonet (1916-2014), pionera de la fotogeolog\u00eda en Espa\u00f1a y primera mujer que ejerci\u00f3 profesionalmente la geolog\u00eda en nuestro pa\u00eds.
